How do I book a tour?
All bookings are made online via our website or by calling freephone 08000937005 from 9am – 5pm Monday – Saturday. For online bookings, simply go to the page of the tour you want to book (Royal Mile Tour, Haunted Tour, Movie Tour, Cultural Tour or Original Tour), pick a date then click ‘book’.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your tour please let us know two days before your tour and you’ll receive a full refund. Unfortunately, if we are given less than two days’ notice we are unable to offer a refund.
Can I book the tour for a group?
Yes! We offer group bookings to suit any occasion whether it’s a friend’s birthday, a hen or stag party, or just a fun day out with friends. We offer special discounts for group bookings – contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling freephone 0800 093 7005 to find out more.
Are the tours suitable for children?
All of our tours are suitable for children aged five and over.
How many people will be on the tour?
We want everyone in the group to enjoy themselves while being able to clearly follow their tour guide so each tour will have between eight and 30 people on it.
How long will the tours last?
The tours will last approximately one hour.
What’s the difference between a traditional walking tour of Edinburgh and the Silent Disco Tours?
We’ve come up with an innovative and fun way of showing visitors the sights of Edinburgh. Each tour will have a specially-created playlist that participants can listen to through their wireless headphones. Your tour guide will also provide you with information on the locations you visit. So, not only will you learn about Edinburgh but you’ll have a fab time along the way.
Do I need to dance?
Absolutely not! While some people can’t help but boogie through the streets to the music, some people prefer to walk. It’s completely up to you!
What happens if it rains?
Scotland is known for its unpredictable weather so there may be some light rain from time to time, but don’t worry, we have complimentary ponchos for you to use to keep dry.
What footwear is appropriate?
Due to Edinburgh’s cobbled streets and narrow alleyways we recommend wearing comfortable shoes, ideally trainers.
